Pawan Kalyan’s Son Injured in Singapore School Fire, Admitted to Hospital

In a concerning incident on Tuesday morning, Mark Shankar, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, sustained injuries during a fire mishap at his school in Singapore. According to a statement released by the party on X (formerly Twitter), the fire broke out due to unknown reasons, resulting in burn injuries on the child’s arms and legs. He also reportedly inhaled smoke, leading to breathing issues. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment under close medical supervision.

Mark, who is just eight years old and studying in Singapore, is said to be stable but still under observation. The news has triggered widespread concern among party members and fans of the actor-turned-politician. As per sources within the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan was on an official tour in Alluri Sitarama Raju district at the time of the incident. After being informed of his son’s condition, party leaders advised him to cut short his engagements and immediately travel to Singapore. However, he has opted to first complete key developmental meetings before flying out from Visakhapatnam.

This personal crisis comes at a crucial political juncture, with Pawan Kalyan playing a significant role in Andhra Pradesh’s governance and upcoming elections. Despite the emergency, party sources confirmed that he remains committed to his official duties while closely monitoring his son’s health. The news has drawn both political and public attention, with well-wishers across the Telugu states and abroad sending prayers for Mark’s speedy recovery.
