In a shocking revelation, Meghalaya police confirmed that Raja Raghuvanshi, a tourist from Indore, was murdered during his honeymoon in the state, allegedly at the behest of his wife, Sonam. The state’s Director General of Police, I Nongrang, stated on Monday that Sonam surrendered at Nandganj police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district, while three of the hired assailants were arrested during late-night operations conducted across UP and Madhya Pradesh. The murder, which took place during what was supposed to be a celebratory trip, has sent shockwaves across the nation.

According to the police, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) apprehended two suspects from Indore and one from Uttar Pradesh. The arrested individuals allegedly confessed to being hired by Sonam to eliminate her husband. The DGP confirmed that the operation to capture remaining suspects is ongoing in Madhya Pradesh.
