BRS working president KT Rama Rao visited the residence of party candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath in Jubilee Hills on Saturday to offer support and condolences to her family following her loss in the recent by-election. Arriving at around 10 am, he spent time speaking with Sunitha and her relatives, acknowledging the emotional toll that election setbacks can bring, especially after a high-intensity campaign.
During the visit, KTR encouraged the family to stay strong and maintain confidence despite the disappointing result. He reminded them that electoral politics is a cycle of highs and lows, where victories and defeats are both inevitable. His message aimed to uplift the family and reaffirm their place within the party, emphasizing that commitment and resilience matter more than temporary outcomes.
KTR also praised Sunitha and her children for the dedication and fighting spirit they demonstrated throughout the campaign. He noted that their hard work had inspired many within the party and the constituency, adding that their efforts would continue to be valued in future political endeavours. Party sources said the visit was meant to reassure the family and reinforce unity within the BRS ranks after the bypoll setback.
