Hyderabad ATM Heist: Thieves Loot ₹30 Lakh in Just 4 Minutes

Hyderabad: In a shocking burglary, a four-member gang broke into an ATM and stole ₹30 lakh in just four minutes. The daring heist took place at an SBI ATM in Ravirala village, Maheshwaram, on Saturday night. According to CCTV footage, the gang arrived at the ATM center with a well-planned strategy. Two men remained outside, while the other two entered the ATM kiosk. Using advanced tools, they swiftly unlocked the cash dispensing machine, grabbed stacks of currency notes in different denominations, and fled the scene before anyone could intervene.

The entire operation was executed with precision, suggesting that the burglars had prior experience or technical expertise in breaking into ATMs. The police were alerted soon after the incident, and a team was dispatched to the location. Investigators are currently analyzing CCTV footage to identify the suspects and track their movements before and after the heist. Authorities suspect that the gang might be linked to similar ATM thefts in the past, and efforts are underway to trace their whereabouts.

The incident has raised concerns over the security of ATM centers, particularly those in less populated areas. Many such kiosks operate without security guards, making them easy targets for criminals. Local residents and bank customers have urged authorities to enhance security measures, including installing more advanced surveillance systems and deploying personnel for round-the-clock monitoring. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and intensified their search for the culprits, hoping to make swift arrests and recover the stolen money.
