Hyderabad – Leaders of the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samiti (BRS) have filed disqualification requests against MLA Srinivas Reddy and Dr. Sanjay Kumar of the party through speed post on Wednesday. It was evident that these two assembly members did not give the opposition party time for a meeting. BRS leaders attempted to contact the Speaker but were unsuccessful, so they decided to send their requests via speed post.
Speaking to media in Telangana Bhavan, MLA Jaggadish Reddy stated that MLA Srinivas Reddy and Dr. Sanjay Kumar have successfully joined the party’s B-form. Their inclusion in the Congress party is illegal under the anti-defection law, and their membership should be revoked. “We have been waiting for a meeting with the Speaker since Tuesday. However, we are not being given a meeting time. We have lodged complaints against their disqualification via speed post and email,” Jaggadish Reddy demanded action, saying that they will take legal action if their demands are not met.
