Bhatti Orders Rollout of RYV Sanction Letters from June 2 on Telangana Formation Day

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has instructed officials to commence distribution of sanction letters under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam (RYV) scheme from June 2, marking the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day. This decision was made during a high-level review meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday. Bhatti stated that the Congress-led government introduced this flagship self-employment initiative to address youth unemployment and boost economic empowerment across the state. Under the RYV scheme, financial assistance worth ₹8,000 crore will be extended to five lakh beneficiaries — a scale he described as a “national record.”

As per the implementation plan, sanction letters will be issued between June 2 and June 9 in every constituency. Following this, training sessions for the selected beneficiaries will take place from June 10 to June 15, conducted both at the district and constituency levels. Bhatti emphasized the importance of timely execution and directed officials to ensure seamless coordination during the letter distribution and training phases. He reiterated that empowering youth is a core priority of the current government and urged departments to maintain transparency and speed in processing the applications.

The Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme is expected to bring a wave of economic opportunity for Telangana’s young population, aligning with the broader goals of job creation and inclusive growth. Beneficiaries will receive targeted financial support, business guidance, and necessary training to kickstart self-employment ventures. Bhatti concluded the meeting by calling this programme a significant step toward fulfilling the aspirations of Telangana’s youth and transforming the state into a hub of innovation and enterprise.
