AAP MPs Protest Alleged Modi Government Plot to Misuse ED-CBI Against Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Members of Parliament, led by MP Sanjay Singh, staged a protest on the Parliament premises today, accusing the Modi government of orchestrating a conspiracy to arrest Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal through the misuse of investigative agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The MPs expressed vehement opposition to what they described as a targeted move aimed at stifling political dissent and undermining democratic principles. They criticized the alleged misuse of power to curb the influence of a popular regional leader.

Sanjay Singh, speaking on behalf of the protesting AAP MPs, asserted, “We condemn this blatant abuse of authority to suppress our Chief Minister, who represents the voice of the people. This is a dangerous precedent for democracy.”

The protest comes amidst escalating tensions between the AAP-led Delhi government and the central authorities over several contentious issues.

There has been no immediate response from the central government regarding these allegations.
