12-Year-Old Boy Dies After Fall While Trying to Escape Monkeys in Suryapet

A tragic incident was reported from Vallapuram village in Nadigudem mandal of Telangana’s Suryapet district, where a 12-year-old boy lost his life after falling while trying to escape a group of monkeys. The victim, identified as Nishanth, had gone fishing at a nearby lake with his friend Manendar. As the two boys were returning home, a group of monkeys approached them, causing both children to panic and run for safety.

During the rush, Nishanth reportedly lost his balance and fell. His friend Manendar cried out for help, which frightened the monkeys away. Two young men passing through the area rushed to the spot after hearing the cries and immediately carried the injured boy to the village hospital. However, due to the lack of adequate medical facilities, the hospital staff called the 108 ambulance service, whose medical personnel declared Nishanth dead.

The exact nature of the injuries sustained by Nishanth has not yet been confirmed, and officials are awaiting further details. The incident has left the village in shock and has once again raised concerns about the increasing monkey menace in several parts of Telangana, where residents have been reporting frequent encounters with aggressive monkeys.
